jhonson got 7 out of ten #aus The year you were born marks only your entry into the world. Other years where you prove your worth, they are the ones worth celebrating.

I grabbed a pile of
dust, and holding it
up, foolishly asked
for as many
birthdays as the
grains of dust, I
forgot to ask that
they be years of
youth.
My birthday is on a
holiday, I just have
to wait until I die
and they
commemorate me.
I don’t like to
celebrate my
birthday, because I
don’t like taking
credit for others’
work—in this case,
my mom and dad.
Or possibly my mom
and the mailman.
